This table contains subnational multidimensional poverty trends data from the data tables published by the Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative (OPHI), University of Oxford. The global Multidimensional Poverty Index (MPI) measures multidimensional poverty in over 100 developing countries, using internationally comparable datasets and is updated annually. The measure captures the severe deprivations that each person faces at the same time using information from 10 indicators, which are grouped into three equally weighted dimensions: health, education, and living standards. The global MPI methodology is detailed in Alkire, Kanagaratnam & Suppa (2023).

To ensure the centrality of IDP’ voices in discussions about their future, as well as to inform evidence-based inter-agency responses in support of the Government of Ukraine, UNHCR is leads the regular implementation of intentions surveys with IDPs and refugees from Ukraine, collecting primary data on their profiles, their current situation and intentions, and the factors influencing their decision-making. The first round of intentions surveys among IDPs in Ukraine was completed and the report published in February 2023 (https://data.unhcr.org/en/documents/details/99164). This data was collected during the second round, conducted in May 2023, in parallel to the fourth round of the refugees' intentions surveys. A joint report was published in July 2023 (https://reporting.unhcr.org/ukraine-lives-hold-intentions-and-perspectives-refugees-and-idps). This data is an anonymous version of the original data collected and used for the primary analysis.

This Common Operational Dataset on Population Statistics (COD-PS) is estimated using baseline information from the 2001 Population Census of Ukraine and annual birth and death registration data since the last census. REFERENCE YEAR: 2022 The COD-PS is age- and sex-disaggregated at ADM-1 level (i.e. Oblast) and has a reference date of 1 January, 2022. The ukr_admpop_2022.xlsx spreadsheet includes a table of sex and age disaggregated 2022 projected population statistics of the 30 administrative level 4 features that correspond to cities of more than 100,000 people (excluding Kyiv city). These tables are suitable for database or GIS linkage to the Ukraine - Subnational Administrative Boundaries and Ukraine - Subnational Edge-matched Administrative Boundaries layers using the ADM0, and ADM2_PCODE fields.

This dataset contains the number of confirmed cases, recoveries and deaths by country and subnational region due to the Coronavirus pandemic in Europe. Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 crisis, the Joint Research Centre (JRC) has been supporting the European Commission in multidisciplinary areas to understand the COVID-19 emergency, anticipate its impacts, and support contingency planning. This data provides an overview of the monitoring in the area of the 34 UCPM Participating States plus Switzerland related to sub-national data (admin level 1) on numbers of contagious and fatalities by COVID-19, collected directly from the National Authoritative sources (National monitoring websites, when available). The sub-national granularity of the data allows to have a fit-for-purpose model to early capture the local spread and response to the COVID-19 outbreak. As the conflict in Eastern Ukraine is into its fourth year, ongoing and widespread ceasefire violations along the ‘line of contact’ and the restrictions on movement of people and goods continue to pose significant risks to civilian populations in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts. 2017 and 2018 saw the conflict intensify, leading to a significant loss of lives, major concerns over the protection of civilians and significant damage to critical infrastructure. Overall, 3.4 million people are in need of humanitarian assistance and protection . It is therefore necessary to update the previous multi-sector needs assessment reports (IAVA, Trend Analysis, Winter Assessment) with a new and relevant data, and further investigate the trends of the changing humanitarian situation on the ground through both secondary data review from other humanitarian actors, as well as primary field collection of data to fill the gaps identified in the humanitarian data available. General Objective To understand and track changes in humanitarian needs of populations living in conflict affected areas in government controlled areas of Ukraine.

The data on vaccine availability forecasts was manually extracted from the COVAX Facility Interim Distribution Forecast as announced by COVAX on 3 February 2021. Figures for actual deliveries through channels other than COVAX are compiled by OCHA from press reports. The source(s) press releases, official announcements or articles for each such vaccine delivery are included in the dataset.
