    UNOSAT code: FL20240826SDN, GDACS ID: 1102854 This map illustrates satellite-detected water extent in Abu Hamad Locality, River Nile State, Sudan as observed from a Sentinel-2 satellite image acquired on 19 August 2024 at 10:06 local time (08:06 UTC). Within analysed area of about 1,800 km², a total of about 28 km² of land appears to be affected by floodwaters. Based on Worldpop population data and the flood extent, approximately 400 people are potentially exposed or living close to flooded areas.
