The Small Arms Survey is an independent research project located at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, Switzerland. It serves as the principal international source of public information on all aspects of small arms and armed violence and as a resource for governments, policymakers, researchers, and civil society. The Small Arms Survey commissions research and conducts collaborative projects with independent researchers, international organizations, governmental entities, UN agencies, research organizations, NGOs, and partner institutions throughout the world. Findings from resulting field research are presented in the project's various publications.
