Boundaries downloaded from www.gadm.org. P-codes assigned according to 2015 COD previously placed on HDX, sourced from Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade.

Administrative level 0 (nation) boundaries dissolved from Administrative level 1 (parish) boundaries.
Caveats / Comments

8 October 2019 update: EMF files and gazetteer added

6 May 2019 update:

The JAM_adm1_lines shapefile was corrected. The shoreline admlevel code had been 0 instead of 99.

This dataset replaces an earlier HDX dataset that contained smaller scale, more generalized boundaries.

The 'Jamaica administrative level 0 (nation) boundary polygons' shapefile was replaced on 2018 03 28. The previous version was corrupt.
