Submitted by Insecurity Insight

Insecurity Insight is now a member of the Global Coalition to Protect Education from Attack. As part of our collaboration with the GCPEA, the Monthly News Brief on Education in Danger follows a new format in 2019:

The first part covers attacks on educators and schools aligned with the GCPEA definition of attacks on education that are also part of the thematic indicators under the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4 on education.

The second part includes a wider range of events that affect the provision of education including events perpetrated by students, private individuals and criminals as well as significant strike action or protests by students.

It is prepared by Insecurity Insight from information available in open sources.
