    A mapping exercises for Community Disaster Management Plans was undertaken by consortium partners in Wajir, Mandera, Samburu, Marsabit, Turkana and West Pokot counties for communities that had previously received a grant through the La Nina ECHO funded project to implement a prioritized activity in the plan which will help them mitigate the effects of a disaster they had analysed through a Participatory Disaster Risk Analysis process. The mapping exercises to establish the status of the proposed activities in these CDMPs and visually represent the information in a map with the aim of linking these communities to stakeholders who will be interested in filling in the gaps mapped out both in terms of capacity and infrastructure.
