The dataset contains IDPs individual and households at admin2 level. IOM has been developing a Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) since May 2015 aimed at effectively monitoring and evaluating the flows of Burundian IDPs and providing accurate information on the current IDP situation. The DTM in Burundi has been successfully used in 2014, upon the request of the humanitarian community and the GoB when some areas of Bujumbura were flooded, which caused displacement. This tool allowed registering IDPs in four IDP sites and in host families in four locations and identifying their humanitarian needs.

This dataset brings together data from a range of sources to provide a greater overall and comparative understanding of the current situation and context inside each district. The core indicators consist of key drivers (conflict, basic commodity prices, exclusion and marginalization, and disrupted access to life-saving services and income sources) and their major expected humanitarian impacts (food insecurity, cholera). The dataset includes a mix of quantitative and qualitative data. Qualitative data is collected by ACAPS through daily media monitoring, secondary data review, thematic products and discussions with experts in Yemen and the region. ACAPS tracks changes in these indicators and alerts the humanitarian community to emerging trends or risks that could overwhelm local coping mechanisms in Yemen, triggering a humanitarian emergency. This dataset forms the core of ACAPS Yemen Crisis Insight bi-monthly products such as the Yemen: Crisis Impact Overview and Yemen Risk Overview, and ad hoc risk alerts.

The IDMC’s Internal Displacement Updates (IDU) are preliminary estimates of new displacements reported in the last 180 days. The IDU API presents provisional data that is updated on daily basis, according to the availability of data. Curated and validated estimates are published in the Global Internal Displacement Database (GIDD) –See https://www.internaldisplacement.org/database/displacement-data. For a detailed description of methodology please refer to the IDMC GRID methodological annex (https://www.internal-displacement.org/global-report/grid2020/downloads/2020-IDMC-GRID-methodology.pdf) and IDMC’s monitoring guidelines (https://monitoringguidance.wixsite.com/idmc). The IDU dataset contains preliminary estimates of aggregated from diverse publishers or sources. New displacement estimates are provided for three different causes of internal displacement: disasters, conflict and violence, and development projects. The documentation of the API is available at bit.ly/IDU_API_DOC.

The Database of Government Actions on COVID-19 in Developing Countries collates and tracks national policies and actions in response to the pandemic, with a focus on developing countries. The database provides information for 20 Global South countries – plus 6 Global North countries for reference – that Dalberg staff are either based in or know well. The database content is drawn from publicly available information combined, crucially, with on-the-ground knowledge of Dalberg staff. The database contains a comprehensive set of 100 non-pharmaceutical interventions – organized in a framework intended to make it easy to observe common variations between countries in the scope and extent of major interventions. Interventions we are tracking include: • Health-related: strengthening of healthcare systems, detection and isolation of actual / possible cases, quarantines • Policy-related: government coordination and legal authorization, public communications and education, movement restrictions • Distancing and hygiene: social distancing measures, movement restrictions, decontamination of physical spaces • Economic measures: economic and social measures, logistics / supply chains and security. We hope the database will be a useful resource for several groups of users: (i) governments and policymakers looking for a quick guide to actions taken by different countries—including a range of low- and middle-income countries, (ii) policy analysts and researchers studying the data to identify patterns of actions taken and compare the effectiveness of different interventions in curbing the pandemic, and (iii) media and others seeking to quickly access facts about the actions taken by governments in the countries covered in the database. Comments on the data can be submitted to covid.database.comments@dalberg.com Questions can be submitted to covid.database.questions@dalberg.com www.dalberg.com

Summary: This file represents digitization work carried out by UNOSAT and REACH using IOM-NPM drone imagery from April 2021. All fields should be indicative, the 'Type' field indicates whether the structure was thought to be fully build at the time imagery was taken. Limitations: Digitised areas show covered spaces within the camps. These may be latrines, tubewells, bathing stations, shelters or larger structures (many of which are multiple shelter joined under one continuous roof). This is also the case in previous 'shelter' footprints. Bridges are not included in this dataset, but many can be found in the previous 2019 footprint. Imagery is known to have horizontal offset of up to a few meters in some areas but is generally accurate. Work is ongoing by REACH to manually update the footprints to ensure that they accurately represent features in the field. As future iterations and improvements to the footprints are made, additional versions will be released. The work has not yet been fully ground truthed and is based on expert interpretation of UAV imagery. In addition to relying on imagery interpretation, the footprints are bound by the limitations present in the UAV images that were utilized.
