Here we provide version 1 Flowminder (www.flowminder.org) human mobility models for West Africa, together with WorldPop population density data for the region, to support ongoing efforts to control the ebola outbreak. Before downloading any data, please read the documention carefully as it provides details on the datasets and models provided through the links below. The mobility data refer to estimated patterns before the Ebola outbreak and should be interpreted with caution for Ebola affected countries as mobility patters are known to have changed. The UNHCR Standardized Expanded Nutrition Surveys (SENS) provide regular nutrition data that plays a key role in delivering effective and timely interventions to ensure good nutritional outcomes among populations affected by forced displacement. This survey was conducted in Bahn, PTP and Little Wlebo camps, which are located in Maryland, Grand Gedeh and Nimba counties lying along the border of Liberia and Côte d'Ivoire. The three camps were hosting close to 29,000 Ivorian refugees including approximately 5,000 children aged below five years. The survey, which was organized by UNHCR in close collaboration with World Food Programme (WFP), UN Childrens Fund (UNICEF), CARE, African Humanitarian Action (AHA) and Country Health Teams / Ministry of Health and Social Welfare of the Republic of Liberia, was conducted from 7th April to 2nd May 2015. This was the third SENS to be conducted in the camps since the Ivorian refugee emergency in 2010 in Liberia; the first was in 2012 and the second in 2013.

The UNHCR Standardized Expanded Nutrition Surveys (SENS) provide regular nutrition data that play a key role in delivering effective and timely interventions to ensure good nutritional outcomes among populations affected by forced displacement. This survey took place in the four Ivorian refugee camps (Bahn, PTP, Solo, and Little Wlebo) in Nimba, Grand Gedeh and Maryland Counties along the border with Cote d'Ivoire from November to December 2013. UNHCR and the World Food Programme (WFP) organized the survey in close collaboration with partners including Africa Humanitarian Action (AHA), International Refugee Committee (IRC), Merlin, Danish Refugee Council (DRC), CARE, and the Country Health Teams / Ministry of Health and Social Welfare of the Government of the Republic of Liberia. This was the second SENS to be conducted in the camps since the Ivorian refugee emergency in 2010 in Liberia; the first was in 2012.

Catholic Medical Mission Board (CMMB) working across the five countries of Haiti, Kenya, Peru, South Sudan, and Zambia, surveyed the 253 health facilities we partner with to determine their preparedness to prevent and respond to the COVID-19 pandemic in April of 2020. The assessment was considered a "baseline" with follow up data collected for 242 health facilities in November of 2021. Altogether there were 213 health facilities assessed twice. the core areas of focus were: medical equipment and supplies, training, waste disposal, IPC practices, triage and isolation, water and sanitation, and operations and accessibility.

Curators worked to ensure that the layers were recent, clean, useful, and legally and technically open.
