The purpose of the creditworthiness index is to provide an annual snapshot of the selected utilities’ operational and financial performance. In this assesment, governance and social economic factors are not considered. The analysis presented in this report is based on the financial and operational data for the 2016/2017 financial year, as reported by utilities in WARIS. Where possible, the data is reported from financial statements audited by Office of the Auditor General. However, due to timing issues, much of the data is based on unaudited, most recent management accounts. Qualitative inputs have not been used in the Creditworthiness Index results.
