    The consortium has funds allocated within the 'emergency envelope' which allows consortium partners to respond to emergencies that happen in the consortium area of operation. This data set is about interventions undertaken by partners in different parts of the Country (ASAL), types of intervention, number of beneficiaries and amount spent on the intervention in Phase III,IV and V of project implementation.

    A mapping exercises for Community Disaster Management Plans was undertaken by consortium partners in Wajir, Mandera, Samburu, Marsabit, Turkana and West Pokot counties for communities that had previously received a grant through the La Nina ECHO funded project to implement a prioritized activity in the plan which will help them mitigate the effects of a disaster they had analysed through a Participatory Disaster Risk Analysis process. The mapping exercises to establish the status of the proposed activities in these CDMPs and visually represent the information in a map with the aim of linking these communities to stakeholders who will be interested in filling in the gaps mapped out both in terms of capacity and infrastructure.
