Following an outbreak of violence on 25 August 2017 in Rakhine State, Myanmar, a new massive influx of Rohingya refugees to Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh started in late August 2017. Most of the Rohingya refugees settled in Ukhia and Teknaf Upazilas of Cox’s Bazar, a district bordering Myanmar identified as the main entry area for border crossings. This assessment presents NPM Round 7 site assessment baseline dataset, which covers all locations hosting Rohingya populations in Cox's Bazar District in Bangladesh and present population needs overview as of 12 December 2017. Nigeria Baseline data from Dec 14 to Oct 17

The Task Force for Population Movement (TFPM) is a Technical Working Group to the Inter-Cluster Coordination Mechanism. (ICCM) The TFPM implements an information management tool that gathers data and location of displaced persons across Yemen. As of 01 Sep 2017, the TFPM has identified, 2,014,026 internally displaced persons (IDPs) (335,671 households) who have been displaced due to conflict since March 2015, dispersed across 21 governorates. For the same period, the TFPM has identified 956,076 returnees (159,346 households), across 20 governorates. As a result, 10.3% of the total population of Yemen has experienced the shock of displacement due to conflict in the last 30 months. The data collected is a compilation of data collection activities conducted through the period of May to August 2018. The data presents the best estimates of displacement and returnee movements in locations across Yemen.

Third Round, Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) Dominica- Hurricane Maria Response

The Ministry of Education announced the first phase of school reopening on 16 October 2017. Therefore, IOM prioritized schools currently housing the displaced population in the first round of DTM assessment. 43 of the pre-identified collective centers were schools and 33 of these were housing displaced individuals on 6 October. IOM aims to provide basic information on these targeted schools to inform the government and general humanitarian community of the situation in these collective centers and support provision of assistance. This report presents the results of assessments carried out from 11-14 October in 19 schools that are scheduled to reopen in the coming days.

It does not depend on the location of displacement or return, only on the cause of that movement. The ET figures are not cumulative of the all persons affected by the Mosul crisis thus far, rather the ET update provides only a snapshot of the current displacement situation for the indicated date. Since May 2013, Nigeria has seen an intensification of conflict due to Boko Haram attacks in its north east states of Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Taraba and Yobe. Insurgency and counter-insurgency have inevitably resulted in the displacement of people across the troubled states. In response to the need for accurate information on internally displaced persons (IDPs), the International Organization for Migration (IOM) began implementing the Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) project in July 2014. The objective of the project is to support the Government of Nigeria in establishing a comprehensive system to collect and disseminate data on IDPs by strengthening the capacity of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), the State Emergency Management Agencies (SEMAs) and other humanitarian actors to conduct assessments on IDPs in a unified and systematized manner. The activities of the DTM project, which consist of conducting baseline assessments and registration for IDPs living in camps and host communities, are currently being carried out in Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Taraba and Yobe. The information collected will contribute to the provision of a comprehensive profile of the IDP population in Nigeria which will be shared with all relevant stakeholders and will contribute towards enabling the government of Nigeria and humanitarian partners identify the needs of Nigeria’s displaced population and develop interventions for providing IDPs necessary assistance. The project is funded by the Office of Disaster Assistance of the United States Agency for International Development and the European Commission's Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection Department.

Over 1 million migrants, asylum seekers and refugees arrived to Europe via the Mediterranean on 2015. This dataset includes a summary by country and monthly breakdowns, with the data as provided from national governments to IOM.
