Enveritas is a US-based non-profit founded in 2016 to overcome systemic barriers that prevent the application of proven solutions for ending poverty among smallholder coffee and cocoa growers.
Enveritas has developed a new methodology that combines geospatial data processing with on-the-ground observations to offer assurance and insights on a wide panel of topics, such as farm sustainability, deforestation, and quality of education.
Enveritas currently works for private companies as well as governments and foundations, and operates in most major cocoa and coffee origins in Latin America, Africa, and Asia.

| Dataset date: July 01, 2019-January 20, 2021
This dataset contains geolocations of Côte d'Ivoire's primary schools as identified by Enveritas' satellite detection algorithm in July 2019. Enveritas updates this dataset with on-the-ground observations, which consist of field agents going to the identified locations and confirming the presence of primary schools. An update is planned in March 2021.
