CPAS stands for "Comprehensive Planning and Performance Assessment System." It is a tool used in peacekeeping operations that aims to link the context of a country with peacekeeping planning, data, results, and reporting. CPAS enables peacekeeping mission leadership to make informed, evidence-based decisions to enhance the implementation of their mandates. It helps in rapidly de-escalating conflicts and improving the lives of people living in the countries where these missions operate. CPAS allows missions to assess their operating environment, set goals, and track progress using data and analysis. It is designed to improve the effectiveness of UN peacekeeping operations and contribute to global peace and security objectives by integrating planning and performance assessment across various mission components, including civilians, military, and police. This dataset contains the statistics of indicators and impact assessments per mission.
