The Grand Sud of Madagascar has been affected by consecutive droughts during the rainy seasons from 2019 to 2021. In 2021, 36% of the Grand Sud was classified as severe drought and 1% as extreme drought. Nearly 1.47 million people were severely food insecure (IPC 3+) and four districts – Amboasary Atsimo, Ambovombe Androy, Tsihombe and Ampanihy West – were in IPC Phase 4 (Emergency).

The profiling exercises in Darfur are aimed at: i. informing PBF programming and Action Plan development in each Darfur state/locality; ii. provide the baseline of the agreed upon PBF outcome/output indicators (for later measurement of impact); and iii. inform broader HDPN programming beyond the Fund. The sample size consisted of 10,914 households with a total of 60,154 individuals.

DTM in Yemen includes the monitoring of key migrant and return locations on Yemen's northern border with Saudi Arabia and southern coastal border. DTM monitors the arrivals of migrants and Yemeni nationals in order to identify different patterns and types of migration. IOM estimates that 6,589 migrants entered Yemen in addition to 2,819 Yemeni returns from Saudia Arabia during November 2019 bringing the number of migrants who have arrived in Yemen in 2019 to 127,275 and the number of Yemeni returnees to 44,777
The assessment contains IDPs and Returnees data at village level. The data is gender and age disaggregated and also has number of vulnerable population and the needs assessment.
The dataset contains number and needs of returnees in Logone Oriental province. This assessment identified 31,994 returned individuals (7,051 households). The results indicate that half of the returnees live in five sites, including Danamadja and Kobiteye in the city of Goré, which alone account for 27 and 20 percent of the returnees that the province hosts, respectively.
