In Peru, according to official sources, between January and September of 2017, in the border crossing CEBAF Tumbes, more than 103,000 Venezuelan were registered entering, of which, more than 64% entered after June. Likewise, in the PCF of Santa Rosa, on the southern border, a total of 47,342 Venezuelan exits to Chile were registered up to October of this year. The current increase in migratory flows imposes the need to carry out an exhaustive monitoring of it in order to promote an orderly migration, safe and in human conditions - hand in hand with the stakeholders-. Thus, there is a need to know a profile of the Venezuelan migrant, the characteristics and dynamics of the migratory route. The DTM Round 1 had questions related to Profile of Venezuelan migrant, Migratory status, Migratory route, Place of transit, Difficulties on the route, Situation in the transit country and others fields.

In response to the Somalia’s severe drought beginning in November 2021, DTM Somalia launched an Emergency Trends Tracking (ETT) tool first in Gedo and Bay regions in 2022, and subsequently in Hiraan, Banadir and Middle Shabelle regions in 2023 to monitor drought related displacement trends and hotspots in support of operational planning. However, during the first half of 2023, conflict and flooding displacements have been significant. Therefore, DTM restructured its ETT tool to capture multi-shock displacements (drought, flood, conflict and other) from October 2023. ETT is a crisis-based tool that tracks sudden displacement triggered by specific events or emerging crises. The objective of ETT is to help prioritize humanitarian response and to enable partners to deliver rapid assistance.

This dataset is UCDP's most disaggregated dataset, covering individual events of organized violence (phenomena of lethal violence occurring at a given time and place). These events are sufficiently fine-grained to be geo-coded down to the level of individual villages, with temporal durations disaggregated to single, individual days. Database containing information related to precipitation indices useful for analysing and comparing variations in precipitation over time and in different geographical regions and indices used in the analysis of vegetation and crops to monitor their activity and detect their presence in the territory. Key variables: Atmospherically Resistant Vegetation Index (ARVI), Normalized Difference Vegetation (NDVI), Enhanced Vegetation Index (EVI) and Structure Insensitive Pigment Index (SIPI) for rainfall information and Standardized Precipitation Index (SPI1, SPI3, SPI6, SPI9 and SPI12) for vegetation information. The indicators between SPI1 - SPI3 refer to short time periods (indicator for immediate impacts) while SPI3 - SPI12 is for more medium-term impact measurements. Each vegetation index is based on a set of data that can be collected through remote sensing, such as satellite imagery, and is designed to measure different vegetation and crop characteristics. The data are categorised by country, department and municipality and by year and month. The indices refer to the monthly average. Vegetation and precipitation data have been produced and transformed by GIS4Tech. For more information contact GIS4Tech: info@gis4tech.com.
