The IPC Acute Food Insecurity (IPC AFI) classification provides strategically relevant information to decision makers that focuses on short-term objectives to prevent, mitigate or decrease severe food insecurity that threatens lives or livelihoods. This data has been produced by the National IPC Technical Working Groups for IPC population estimates since 2017. All national population figures are based on official country population estimates. IPC estimates are those published in country IPC reports.

UNOSAT code: EQ20240326IDN, GDACS ID: 1420595 This map illustrates satellite-detected landslides in Cipongkor Sub-District, Bandung Barat District, Jawa Barat Province, Indonesia as observed from a Fucheng-1 image acquired on 30 March 2024 at 22:34 local time (15:34) and a WorldView-3 image acquired on 29 March 2024 at 10:12 local time (03:12 UTC). Within the analyzed area of 100 hectares, 20 hectares of landslide scars were observed. UNITAR-UNOSAT identi-fied 28 damaged structures and 26 potentially damaged structures.

From 15 April 2023, armed clashes erupted between the Sudanese Army Forces (SAF) and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in multiple cities across Sudan, including Khartoum, Al Fasher, Merowe, Nyala, Ag Geneina, and El Obeid – among others.
DTM Sudan has been receiving reports of widespread displacement across different states in Sudan due to the ongoing security situation. Locations of displacement have been reported in 14 of Sudan’s 18 states. Namely, these include the states of Khartoum, Northern, River Nile, Aj Jazirah, North Kordofan, White Nile, Sennar, Blue Nile, North Darfur, South Darfur, West Darfur, Central Darfur, Kassala, and Red Sea. Field teams have also reported that inter communal conflict has picked up again between the Masalit and the Arabs has restarted in West Darfur.
This bi-weekly dataset provides an overview of the latest areas of control in Yemen and includes a map, excel spreadsheet and GIS layer. All datasets are fully PCODED to Admin 2 district level, enabling interoperability with other datasets. Through understanding the latest areas of control, it is possible to enhance analysis in areas such as political-economy through adjusting tools to take into account the current geographic situation. Since November 2021, attacks by the former rebel group M 23 have resumed and increased against the congolese armed forces (FARDC) in the east of the DRC. These clashes have further intensified since March 2022, due to which the M23 seized in June 2022 the town of Bunagana located on the border with Uganda, as well as other neighboring localities in the regions of Jomba, Bweza, Kisigari and Busanza in Rutshuru territory. At the end of October 2022, the M23 extended their hold after several offensives, expanding their control over the entire Bwisha chiefdom including the territorial capital and the town of Kiwanja, with alleged plans to extend over the entire territory
1) Natural disaster events include avalanches, earthquakes, flooding, heavy rainfall & snowfall, and landslides & mudflows as recorded by OCHA field offices based on assessments in the field. 2) A natural disaster incident is defined as an event that has affected (i.e. impacted) people, who may or may not require humanitarian assistance. 3) The information includes assessment figures from OCHA, ANDMA, IOM, Red Crescent Societies, national NGOs, international NGOs, and ERM. 4) The number of affected people and houses damaged or destroyed are based on the reports received. These figures may change as updates are received.
