Methodology

Data were collected from the Housing and Establishment Census 2004, the CSO 2016 Population Projections by Governorate & District, Sex & Age Disaggregated, the CSO 2017 Population Projections by Governorate & District, Sex & Age Disaggregated, the International Organization for Migration Task Force for Population Movement Displacement Tracking Matrix Dataset, the Yemen Labour Force Survey 2013-14, the Yemen Statistical Yearbook 2012, the Yemen Statistical Yearbook 2013, the World Bank - Subnational Poverty Database, and the Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative (2017) Global Multidimensional Poverty Index Databank. Census Bureau staff altered boundaries and modified the statistical data as detailed in the Metadata tab of the tabular data.
