The WASH sector triangulates numerous reference datasets to arrive at a working baseline applied for analysis. Contained in this zip folder are CSV files containing DTM baselines, the WASH Sector Host Community Baseline (hcpop.csv), WASH Sector People in Need (PiN) Dataset (pin.csv), WASH Sector Sex and Age Data Disaggregation (SADD) computation (sadd.csv), and the Borno, Adamawa and Yobe States LGA list (rpm_name.csv; joiner.csv). Data contained in each file is at LGA level and a reference column is included in each file with the Admin2 P-Codes.

This is a geometrical shapefile of water point data for eleven (11) hot spot Local Government Areas and describes the water point location type (broadly IDP Camps or Host Communities). Data contains water source details such as nature of the water source, yield, operating hours, facility type, daily yield, and adequacy. The data was collected by UNICEF Data Focal Persons during a water point baseline assessment conducted in March 2019. Data contained in this file is at water point level.

Facebook has produced a model to help map global medium voltage (MV) grid infrastructure, i.e. the distribution lines which connect high-voltage transmission infrastructure to consumer-serving low-voltage distribution. The data found here are model outputs for six select African countries: Malawi, Nigeria, Uganda, DRC, Cote D’Ivoire, and Zambia. The grid maps are produced using a new methodology that employs various publicly-available datasets (night time satellite imagery, roads, political boundaries, etc) to predict the location of existing MV grid infrastructure. The model documentation and code are also available , so data scientists and planners globally can replicate the model to expand model coverage to other countries where this data is not already available. You can find the model code and documentation here: https://github.com/facebookresearch/many-to-many-dijkstra Note: current model accuracy is approximately 70% when compared to existing ground-truthed data. Accuracy can be further improved by integrating other locally-relevant information into the model and running it again. Resolution: geotiff is provided at Bing Tile Level 20

Age and sex structures: WorldPop produces different types of gridded population count datasets, depending on the methods used and end application. An overview of the data can be found in Tatem et al, and a description of the modelling methods used found in Tatem et al and Pezzulo et al. The 'Global per country 2000-2020' datasets represent the outputs from a project focused on construction of consistent 100m resolution population count datasets for all countries of the World for each year 2000-2020 structured by male/female and 5-year age classes (plus a <1 year class). These efforts necessarily involved some shortcuts for consistency. The 'individual countries' datasets represent older efforts to map population age and sex counts for each country separately, using a set of tailored geospatial inputs and differing methods and time periods. The 'whole continent' datasets are mosaics of the individual countries datasets. The health and survival of women and their new-born babies in low income countries is a key public health priority, but basic and consistent subnational data on the number of pregnancies to support decision making has been lacking. WorldPop integrates small area data on the distribution of women of childbearing age, age-specific fertility rates, still births and abortions to map the estimated distributions of pregnancies for each 1x1km grid square across all low and middle income countries. Further details on the methods can be found in Tatem et al and James et al.. WorldPop (www.worldpop.org - School of Geography and Environmental Science, University of Southampton). 2017. This map illustrates satellite-detected areas of displaced persons shelters in the Sangaya settlement, Borno state, Nigeria, and in the surrounding town of Dikwa. UNITAR-UNOSAT analysis of satellite imagery acquired 29 September 2016 revealed a total of 433 shelters and 54 infrastructure and support buildings within the Sangaya compound and a total of 2,259 shelters scattered in the surrounding town. A density analysis has been performed to highlight the most dense shelters areas (Sangaya settlement included), ranging from 400 to 10,500 shelters per square kilometer. This is a preliminary analysis and has not yet been validated in the field. Please send ground feedback to UNITAR - UNOSAT.

The World Food Programme (WFP) launched the mobile Vulnerability Analysis and Mapping (mVAM) project in 2013, beginning in DRC and Somalia. mVAM uses mobile technology to track food security trends in real-time, providing high-frequency data that supports humanitarian decision-making. Data collection methods are tailored to the needs of each country that mVAM operates in. This dataset contains data from the mVAM databank covering various indicators (one per resource).

The dataset represents the Common Operational Data (COD) for administrative boundaries of Nigeria. Each administrative unit contains the p-code and name. Admin COD datasets (Admin 0 – 2) for Nigeria are endorsed by the Office of the Surveyor General of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (OSGOF) and the IMWG Feb 2017. See metadata for description of methodology for admin level 3 and the cleaning and processing performed by ITOS. Levels 0 - 3 are polygonal administrative units, Level 3 only covers Adamawa, Borno and Yobe States and are for operational purposes only. A senatorial district shapefile is also included. Senatorial districts respect administrative level 1 (state) but are not reflected in the gazetteer, geodatabase, or live services. The administrative level 0-2 and senatorial district boundaries are suitable for database or GIS linkage to the Nigeria 2016 Population Data tables.

We have provided the 3 word addresses of each health centre within the West African Region. what3words is a simple, real-time, location referencing system which solves many of the key logistical issues facing aid and humanitarian organisations, for whom street addresses, GPS co-ordinates, and other systems don't exist or are problematic. Using words means non-technical people can find any location more accurately and most importantly, communicate it more quickly, more easily and with less ambiguity than any other system. For more information, to get our API or batch encode your coordinates visit http://www.developer.what3words.com

The Future of Business survey is a collaboration between Facebook, the OECD and the World Bank to provide timely insights on the perceptions, challenges, and outlook of online Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). The Future of Business survey was first launched as a monthly survey in 17 countries in February 2016 and expanded to 42 countries in 2018. In 2019, the Future of Business survey increased coverage to 97 countries and moved to a bi-annual cadence. The target population consists of SMEs that have an active Facebook business Page and include both newer and longer-standing businesses, spanning across a variety of sectors. To date, more than 90 million SMEs have created a Facebook Page, and more than 700,000 of these Facebook Page owners have taken the survey. With more businesses leveraging online tools each day, the survey provides a lens into a new mobilized, digital economy and, in particular, insights on the actors: a relatively unmeasured community worthy of deeper consideration and considerable policy interest. The survey includes questions about perceptions of current and future economic activity, challenges, business characteristics and strategy. Custom modules include questions related to regulation, access to finance, digital payments, and digital skills. The full questionnaire is available for download. This dataset contains survey response data aggregated by country and wave. Future of Business Survey website: futureofbusinesssurvey.org
