Landslides were mapped by staff at the British Geological Survey, Durham University, and a volunteer group coordinated by NASA-JPL, the University of Arizona, and ICIMOD. Both Google Earth kml and ArcGIS geodatabase formats are provided. Satellite data were provided by the International Charter Space and Major Disasters, as well as freely-available online viewers.   • This data was compiled by Statistics Without Borders (SWB) following an activation request to the Digital Humanitarian Network (DHN) from the Assessment Capacities Project (ACAPS). It is a compilation of the MICS 2014 data (Government of Nepal and UNICEF) and the CBS (Central Bureau of Statistics) census data from 2011 Administrative Level 3 boundaries from the Survey Department of Nepal were then merged into the 15 Nepalese Eco-Regions, and the compiled data joined to the Eco-Regions based on unique names by GIScorps, who also produced a visualization here. This visualization is also available on the UN Nepal Information Platform
