What is Data Completeness?
Data Completeness defines a set of core data that are essential for preparedness and emergency response. For select countries, the HDX Team and trusted partners evaluate datasets available on HDX and add those meeting the definition of a core data category to the Data Completeness board above. Please help us improve this feature by sending your feedback to hdx@un.org.

Internally displaced persons are defined according to the 1998 Guiding Principles (http://www.internal-displacement.org/publications/1998/ocha-guiding-principles-on-internal-displacement) as people or groups of people who have been forced or obliged to flee or to leave their homes or places of habitual residence, in particular as a result of armed conflict, or to avoid the effects of armed conflict, situations of generalized violence, violations of human rights, or natural or human-made disasters and who have not crossed an international border. "People Displaced" refers to the number of people living in displacement as of the end of each year. "New Displacement" refers to the number of new cases or incidents of displacement recorded, rather than the number of people displaced. This is done because people may have been displaced more than once. Contains data from IDMC's Global Internal Displacement Database.

  • UNOSAT code: EQ20191001IDN This map illustrates satellite based structure damage assessment in the Eastern part of Salahutu District, Indonesia that was affected by the 6.8 magnitude earthquake of the 26th of September 2019 with an epicenter located north of Kamarian in Kairatu District. UNITAR-UNOSAT has identified within the extent of this map 6 potentially damaged structures around Teluhu village in Salahutu District. Taking into account the pre-building footprints provided by Humanitarian OpenStreetMap we estimate to less than 1% the total number of structures potentially damaged. Taking into account the type of structural damage and the satellite based damage assessment analysis characteristics and limitations; it is possible that the damage is underestimated. This is a preliminary analysis and has not yet been validated in the field. Please send ground feedback to UNITAR-UNOSAT.

The Future of Business survey is a collaboration between Facebook, the OECD and the World Bank to provide timely insights on the perceptions, challenges, and outlook of online Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). The Future of Business survey was first launched as a monthly survey in 17 countries in February 2016 and expanded to 42 countries in 2018. In 2019, the Future of Business survey increased coverage to 97 countries and moved to a bi-annual cadence. The target population consists of SMEs that have an active Facebook business Page and include both newer and longer-standing businesses, spanning across a variety of sectors. To date, more than 90 million SMEs have created a Facebook Page, and more than 700,000 of these Facebook Page owners have taken the survey. With more businesses leveraging online tools each day, the survey provides a lens into a new mobilized, digital economy and, in particular, insights on the actors: a relatively unmeasured community worthy of deeper consideration and considerable policy interest. The survey includes questions about perceptions of current and future economic activity, challenges, business characteristics and strategy. Custom modules include questions related to regulation, access to finance, digital payments, and digital skills. The full questionnaire is available for download. This dataset contains survey response data aggregated by country and wave. Future of Business Survey website: futureofbusinesssurvey.org

This data, derived from the National Socio-Economic Survey (SUSENAS) data published by BPS every six months (March and September). The data is available in MS. Excel (XLS) format: https://www.bps.go.id/dynamictable/2015/12/22/1050/angka-partisipasi-kasar-apk-menurut-provinsi-2011-2017.html.
