What is Data Grid Completeness?
Data Grid Completeness defines a set of core data that are essential for preparedness and emergency response. For select countries, the HDX Team and trusted partners evaluate datasets available on HDX and add those meeting the definition of a core data category to the Data Grid Completeness board above. Please help us improve this feature by sending your feedback to hdx@un.org.

FTS publishes data on humanitarian funding flows as reported by donors and recipient organizations. It presents all humanitarian funding to a country and funding that is specifically reported or that can be specifically mapped against funding requirements stated in humanitarian response plans. The data comes from OCHA's Financial Tracking Service, is encoded as utf-8 and the second row of the CSV contains HXL tags.

These data sets are intended to inform researchers and public health experts about how populations are responding to physical distancing measures. In particular, there are two metrics, Change in Movement and Stay Put, that provide a slightly different perspective on movement trends. Change in Movement looks at how much people are moving around and compares it with a baseline period that predates most social distancing measures, while Stay Put looks at the fraction of the population that appear to stay within a small area during an entire day. The Database of Government Actions on COVID-19 in Developing Countries collates and tracks national policies and actions in response to the pandemic, with a focus on developing countries. The database provides information for 20 Global South countries – plus 6 Global North countries for reference – that Dalberg staff are either based in or know well. The database content is drawn from publicly available information combined, crucially, with on-the-ground knowledge of Dalberg staff. The database contains a comprehensive set of 100 non-pharmaceutical interventions – organized in a framework intended to make it easy to observe common variations between countries in the scope and extent of major interventions. Interventions we are tracking include: • Health-related: strengthening of healthcare systems, detection and isolation of actual / possible cases, quarantines • Policy-related: government coordination and legal authorization, public communications and education, movement restrictions • Distancing and hygiene: social distancing measures, movement restrictions, decontamination of physical spaces • Economic measures: economic and social measures, logistics / supply chains and security. We hope the database will be a useful resource for several groups of users: (i) governments and policymakers looking for a quick guide to actions taken by different countries—including a range of low- and middle-income countries, (ii) policy analysts and researchers studying the data to identify patterns of actions taken and compare the effectiveness of different interventions in curbing the pandemic, and (iii) media and others seeking to quickly access facts about the actions taken by governments in the countries covered in the database. Comments on the data can be submitted to covid.database.comments@dalberg.com Questions can be submitted to covid.database.questions@dalberg.com www.dalberg.com

IRC’s GIS unit created this database to allow for a more sustained approach to producing relevant mapping products and geospatial analysis for regions undergoing emergencies, and will fill gaps in information sharing and management between OFDA, IRC, and other implementing partners during emergency response. IRC’s GIS services provide OFDA/Ethiopia with the information and analysis required to monitor the evolution of project / program results and to track project and program impacts across implementing agencies and geographic locations. This dataset contains boundaries of Ethiopian administrative Woredas which are roughly consistent with the actual administrative boundaries for the year 2019. The Woreda boundary contains attribute data (implementing Partners, Situation and Sector Fields)for Hotspot woredas in the nation by the different sectors as of 30 June 2020.

This dataset is UCDP's most disaggregated dataset, covering individual events of organized violence (phenomena of lethal violence occurring at a given time and place). These events are sufficiently fine-grained to be geo-coded down to the level of individual villages, with temporal durations disaggregated to single, individual days. Contains data from the World Bank's data portal. There is also a consolidated country dataset on HDX. Debt statistics provide a detailed picture of debt stocks and flows of developing countries. Data presented as part of the Quarterly External Debt Statistics takes a closer look at the external debt of high-income countries and emerging markets to enable a more complete understanding of global financial flows. The Quarterly Public Sector Debt database provides further data on public sector valuation methods, debt instruments, and clearly defined tiers of debt for central, state and local government, as well as extra-budgetary agencies and funds. Data are gathered from national statistical organizations and central banks as well as by various major multilateral institutions and World Bank staff.
