Methodology

Kind of Data: Sample survey data [ssd]
Unit of Analysis: All refugees in Meheba and Mayukwayukwa refugee settlements
Sampling Procedure: Systematic random sampling was used in both settlements, and the sample size was calculated based on the 'acceptable' 5% prevalence of acute malnutrition as per WHO classification of public health significance for children under 5 years. It was agreed that the highest GAM prevalence rate of the 2013 nutrition survey conducted in the two settlemetns was too old to be used. See further details in the report.
Data Collection Mode: Face-to-face [f2f]
