HDX DTM Mali Baseline Assessment Round 72

The internally displaced population increased by 6 percent compared to July 2021. The number of IDPs has increased from 377,781 people (DTM report of July 2021) to 401,736 in September 2021, an increase of 23,955 individuals. This increase is explained by the worsening of security conditions in the regions of Ségou, Mopti and Timbuktu during the last two months, resulting in more and more trips.
