Data are categorized according to the 'Alert for Price Spikes' (ALPS) methodology from the WFP, which assigns categories such as crisis, alert, stress, and normal based on the standard deviation between the actual and estimated prices.

The hazard classification is determined by the frequency of the events. The INSAN is an indicator that measures the percentage of people who have experienced moderate or severe food insecurity. Comparisons are made by region: the world, Central America, and the countries of El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras. The GRFC aims at responding to conflicting information derived from different sources and based on different methodologies that lack a consensus-based standard by providing information based on a rigorous methodology and a highly consultative process.

HSM aims to collect and triangulate information regularly regarding service provision, sectoral needs, and vulnerabilities in Afghan communities to support geographical and sectoral prioritizations, particularly in light of Afghanistan's rapidly evolving context. HSM assesses the sectoral and multi-sectoral needs of populations in all districts by filling in information gaps and enhancing response capacity for district-level prioritisation.

Yet despite the key role that croplands play in global land use and Earth systems, there remains little understanding of how spatial patterns of global crop cultivation have recently evolved and which crops have contributed most to these changes. Here we construct a new data library of subnational crop-specific irrigated and rainfed harvested area statistics and combine it with global gridded land cover products to develop a global gridded (5-arcminute) irrigated and rainfed cropped area (MIRCA-OS) dataset for the years 2000 to 2015 for 23 crop classes. These global data products support critical insights into the spatially detailed patterns of irrigated and rainfed cropland change since the start of the century and provide an improved foundation for a wide array of global assessments spanning agriculture, water resource management, land use change, climate impact, and sustainable development No information provided

South Sudan Inter-Sector Needs Assessment (ISNA) data includes demographic and cluster indicator data (provided by ICCG clusters). Data disaggregated by cluster indicator, by counties and by population groups (IDPs, IDP-returnees, host-communities). The ISNA processes follow the IASC guided multi-sector Need assessment approach. The ISNA process consists of qualitative and quantitative components. IOM led the quantitative data collection and REACH led the qualitative data collection (qualitative data not included in this dataset). Entire process ISNA process managed by the ISAN technical working group (TWG) consists of IOM, REACH and OCHA. OCHA provided the overall coordination and engagement with the ICCG as guided by the Humanitarian coordinator and the HCT.

How to use this product: The first three pages track price change chronologically on governorate level, with the ability to compare between them by choosing one or more. The subsequent pages show the prices of market items on the governorate and sub-district level with an item availability heat map of any selected item on any selected level and period. You can select one of the listed items in one sub-district or more. When you choose a governorate its subdistrict(s) will be highlighted according to the availability of the selected item in the selected governorate(s). This product is funded by the CDCS-MEAE. The attacks in the Red Sea are disrupting commercial and humanitarian supplies. International partners have raised alarm over the economic and humanitarian impact of the escalating attacks on ships in the Red Sea which are adding strain to shipping routes already hit by conflicts and climate change. The crisis in the Red Sea, marked by Houthi-led attacks disrupting shipping routes, has added another layer of complexity. In response to the Red Sea crisis, major players in the shipping industry have temporarily suspended Suez transits. The diversion of cargo flow has a major impact on the access to commodities, especially for countries relying heavily on imports. That will also lead to higher costs and delays for humanitarian operations in the Horn of Africa. Continued tensions in the area may result in diverting international attention from the ongoing conflict in Sudan and the climate-related impacts on countries within Southern and Eastern Africa. The situation is fluid and volatile, with the worst plummets in the last 7 years seen in early 2024. This has a potential for significant consequences depending on future developments.
