South Sudan Inter-Sector Needs Assessment (ISNA) data includes demographic and cluster indicator data (provided by ICCG clusters). Data disaggregated by cluster indicator, by counties and by population groups (IDPs, IDP-returnees, host-communities). The ISNA processes follow the IASC guided multi-sector Need assessment approach. The ISNA process consists of qualitative and quantitative components. IOM led the quantitative data collection and REACH led the qualitative data collection (qualitative data not included in this dataset). Entire process ISNA process managed by the ISAN technical working group (TWG) consists of IOM, REACH and OCHA. OCHA provided the overall coordination and engagement with the ICCG as guided by the Humanitarian coordinator and the HCT.

This dashboard monitors the population movements in Northern Syria in non-governmental areas. The data is collected from the communities and IDP camps in the targeted area by the ACU field enumerators and triangulated with various sources like the local councils and humanitarian organizations to ensure the maximum level of accuracy. The baseline was set by cross-checking the population numbers from ACU Population Monitoring and HNAP statistics. RESIDENT POPULATION: Resident populations are individuals or households living in a location and are neither displaced nor newly returned (in the current calendar year). INTERNALLY DISPLACED PERSONS (IDPs): individuals who have been forced to flee their location of origin to another location within Syria for at least one month. RETURNEES: are individuals who returned to their community of origin within the calendar year and have stayed for at least one month after having previously fled for at least one month. Newly INTERNALLY DISPLACED PERSONS (N-IDPs): individuals who have been forced to flee their location of origin to another location within Syria, and at the time of the data collection, their stay in the displacement sites did not exceed one month. Departures: individuals who were not in their original locations during the data collection period and had left their locations for about a month.

The site monitoring tool is used by CCCM partners to carry out service monitoring of key contextualized indicators in order to analyze humanitarian service trends in either site or district over time. Service monitoring can either be done at the site-level or at the district level depending on the scale of the operation. This data which is recorded is useful for CCCM partners and sub-national cluster partners to have as it serves as an advocacy tool for improved and better tailored humanitarian responses from various sectors.

The CCCM cluster established a standardized complaints feedback mechanism (CFM) in August 2020 with the objective of uniformly capturing key complaint data which can be analyzed by humanitarian partners. This monthly snapshot highlights important IDP complaint-related trends and tendencies for locations where CCCM partners are active. Stakeholders can also access the cluster’s real-time CFM dashboard for further data analysis.

The updated master list of IDP sites contains estimated population data, GPS coordinates, names of neighborhoods/umbrellas (sub-district locations) and unique codes for each verified site. Additionally, the Q1-2023 master list includes IDP sites/populations for proposed catchment areas located in Baidoa and Mogadishu to better enable the formulation of an area-based approach to humanitarian service delivery. When possible, the CCCM Cluster urges partners to ensure that the names of IDP sites used by agencies are matching with that of the CCCM Cluster’s IDP Site Master List.

In close coordination with the Assessment Information Management Working Group (AIM WG), UN OCHA, and the Inter-Cluster Coordination Group (ICCG), the tenth round of the Multi-Cluster Needs Assessment (MCNA) seeks to understand multi-sectoral household conditions and priority needs of conflict-affected populations living in Iraq. Between June 3rd and August 18th 2022, REACH Iraq and partners collected multi-sectoral household data on vulnerabilities across Iraq, reaching 13,000 households and 70,000 individuals, focusing on Returnee households, IDP households living in and out-of-camp, and host community households. This data has been analyzed, and the 2022 Multi-Cluster Needs Assessment (MCNA X) Preliminary Analysis and Summary Tables (with Arabic translation) is available for download. REACH Iraq is grateful for its partners for committing resources to ensure the completion of the 2022 MCNA in Iraq: Danish Refugee Council (DRC), Arbeiter-Samariter Bund (ASB), Cooperazione Internazionale (COOPI), CARE, Youth Save Organization, People in Need (PIN), INTERSOS. Primary data collection employed a key informant (KI) methodology with KI interviews conducted by REACH and CCCM Partners enumerators in locations directly accessible by REACH Field Officers (FOs) and by CCCM partner organizations. The geographical scope of DSA V will be built up around the October 2021 IDP master list which lists a total of 3,589 IDP sites across all regions of Somalia. Following identification of target urban areas, REACH located IDP settlement using very high spatial resolution (VHSR) satellite imagery as available on Google Earth prior to the start of the data collection. After identifying target areas and verifying the existence of IDP settlements, REACH contacted the lowest level of governance (district’s office, mayor’s office, etc.) to triangulate information about settlement location.

The Site Management sector, with the support of SM partners (IOM, UNHCR, ADRA and Solidarités International) conducted a mapping exercise during the months of April and May 2018 in the areas of Teknaf upazila currently hosting Rohingya refugees. The purpose of the exercise was to identify and map the boundaries of local paras, namely group of houses. The mapping exercise aimed to better define the areas of responsibility of the newly established Para Development Commitees, and to support RRRC’s CiCs in the process of defining the new camp boundaries in Teknaf. IOM Needs and Population Monitoring (NPM) provided technical support to better identify the para names and demarcation. The para mapping exercise was conducted in two rounds. The first exercise took place from 1 to 3 of April 2018 in the areas of Alikhali, Leda, Nayapara, Muchoni, Jadimura and Domdumia. A second exercise took place on 21 and 22 April 2018 covering the areas of Hakimpara, Jamtoli, Putibonia, Shamlapur and Unchiprang. This dataset presents the figures of the Rohingya refugee population in Teknaf, by para. These data were collected during NPM's regular data collection exercises (Baseline and Site Assessment), which usually capture information on a majhee block level. The two systems are currently coexisting and overlapping. In order to better visualize how the two systems interact, NPM produced a set of maps available at this link.
